Identifying the Specific Failure Point

Certification test reports identify the specific parameter that failed (e.g. a specific frequency emission exceeding a limit), which usually points to a targeted design or component fix rather than requiring a full redesign.

Retesting After Correction

Once the identified issue is corrected — often a shielding, firmware or component change — a partial retest targeting the specific failed parameter is usually sufficient, rather than restarting the full certification process from scratch.
